"We arrived to the restaurant on a Friday night. We were warmly greeted and welcomed inside. The decor was clean and contemporary,the service was top notch. Our server explained all of the specials and made fantastic recommendations. I went with the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and sausages. My mother tried the pesto seafood risotto after an appetizer of the best veal meatball I have ever tasted. The pasta was a perfect alternative dente, the sauce full of flavor. Each mushroom absorbed the sauce and would explode, matching perfect toy with the salty and spicy sausage. The Risotto was cooked perfectly, the delicate pesto flavor complimented the buttery baby shrimp like a hand in a glove. The meal was finished with a shot of espresso. Yes even the coffee was great. I look forward to coming back here and trying desert."

"It’s difficult to find a good Italian restaurant. Few places are able to meet the balance of quality food, ambiance, and price. E&L’s does. All dining aspects from welcoming and attentive service to plates where we could taste each ingredient. We left feeling like we do after having a lunch in Italy, in need of a long nap. "Beautifully renovated space - awesome date night spot. Incredibly gluten free accommodating. Started with mozzarella and arugula, then gluten free pasta (from Italy (YUM)) with ragu meat sauce. My kiddo had 2 meatballs and chocolate semifredo dessert. Hubs had mussels and the grouper - both on special. They have an amazing lunch special. We will be regulars and you should check out this gem!!!!"

"Now let's talk authentic Italian!!! Emma ( grandma) is in the back providing us with some of the most delicious food we've ever had.... And we have had! I even met her and her staff is not just good , they're outstanding and treat you like family. Our server Dakota did a terrific job as did Emma's daughter who wanted to make sure we were happy. YES!!! Eddie had a veal bone steak and I had the freshest tuna with Emma's incredible homemade sauce! WOW. Everything about this restaurant will make you feel at a cafe in Italy and I can't wait to taste the pistachio sauce! Sounds incredible too. Can't wait to go back! A hidden GEM in North Miami! Just a big shout out to a terrific a new restaurant that deserves to flourish and succeed. You will not be disappointed! I'm only sorry I didn't get the dessert of pear and ricotta cheese cake.... "Honestly, the most home cooked Italian meals that I have had around South Miami. I feel at home when I am here. The ambiance feels like I'm in Rome. The meals are recipes from Rome. If you haven't been to Italy, don't worry... this restaurant makes you feel like you are there. The restaurant is a family owned business with a famous grandma & her son always in the kitchen making a chef's kiss meal. The service is so welcoming and every one always is making sure you are feeling comfortable. The servers also speak Italian! Even the cooks come out and you can meet the famous chefs!! This is the spot for some real Italian cuisine. I am so happy they opened. Been dreading for a place like this - authentic Italian and for a good price."
